It all started with a swipe on a cold winter night on December 13, 2018. A short break and a post of Mellow sparked further conversation and plans to meet on Christmas Eve. Ross met Dayton while working at Atlantico at Alton, they had a quick lunch from Publix, and later had their first date at U-Tiki in Jupiter, FL.

A few months later, they made it official after Ross committed to UCF. They did long distance for a couple of months, and then Covid shut down schools. Ross spent most of quarantine with Dayton at his apartment in Palm Beach Gardens. Once school opened back up, Ross returned to Orlando. Dayton, attending FAU at the time, ended up transferring to UCF to finish his degree, and made the move to Orlando.

Dayton and Ross moved around a lot and lived in a bunch of different apartments before buying a house together in 2022. They have two adorable puppies (Mellow and Macchi) and they love to spend their free time at Disney World watching fireworks and riding rides.
